Diplomas and Transcripts

Due to concerns about the state scholarships, PHEA has started producing transcripts for all PHEA families. These are issued in the family homeschool name. This transcript is designed to meet the requirements that the Commission on Higher Education (CHE) has set for transcripts. PHEA also produces diplomas. These will also be issued in the home school family name (not PHEA). The fee for this is $20 for a diploma with a cardboard cover, and $35 for one with a padded cover. Here is the diploma order form. Also, you can order a very nice diploma from HSLDA. The parents' records are the legal records, so you may still make your own transcript or diploma. If you do so, make sure you know what information is required on them. Do not issue either of them in PHEA's name. You may use your home school family name and include the phrase, "home schooled under the auspices of Piedmont Home Educators' Association".
